I designed and painted these faux marble paint treatments to compliment the existing marble used on an EXPRESS store facade in a mall in Florida. The following photo shows the facade of the store in the end stages of construction.
In this photo the faux marble I painted for this EXPRESS store facade is finished as the rest of the construction crew continues to prepare the store for its opening date.
I painted individual masonite boards to resemble stone tiles for the back wall and fireplace of this bedroom set for an advertisement.
I transformed the surface of these three giant slabs of white styrofoam. The images on top show how a giant slab of granite would look arriving straight from the quarry. The third image depicts how the slab would look as it is in the process of being sculpted. And the fourth image depicts how the final stages of sculpting would look. The top of the sculpture is finished with its smooth polished surfaces as the base of the sculpture has yet to be refined.
The brick wall in this photograph is actually made out of purple fiberglass. I painted it to resemble Chicago brick for this film set that was used in an advertisement.
